I started DataScienceOps to bring together the parts of my work that I value most: understanding difficult problems, building useful systems and helping people do good technical work.

My background spans more than 20 years in industry and academia. I have worked with machine intelligence and commercial software at HUGIN Expert, led developers and architects as CTO at Midas Energy, and taught and supervised at Aalborg University.

At Novo Nordisk, I was employed as a Clinical Data Scientist from January 2024 to January 2026 and returned through a consulting engagement in 2026. That work includes clinical data and data engineering in a regulated environment.

I stay involved in the implementation. Good advice needs to hold up when someone has to build, operate and maintain the solution.
